Ray's Tepeyac has been our favorite Mexican restaurant for 25 years. My husband & I have always enjoyed our meals there. Kind, attentive service by very nice people. The food is amazing. We moved from Covina but continued going there from LA Verne. The best restaurant ever!!
Been going to Ray's for over 30 years. Excellent quality food and reasonable prices. Portions are large so being your appetite. You can tell if Mexican food is good at restaurant when mist of their customers are Hispanic.
It is always amazing when your meal starts with amazing chips and salsa and an ice cold beer. The enchiladas were amazing. Both the host and the server were so kind and very attentive. I can’t wait to visit again.
Booth seating was tight. Great menudo!! Tasty tortillas!!! Fresh coffee. I can't wait to go back.
Rays is a family favorite Are use is always great they make you feel like family. The staff is on it and are not stingy with chips and salsa and it is good! Beans and rice excellent and all the items I've ordered have been tasty and portion size is are big. We love Rays Tepeyac!
We have been going to Ray's for over 17 years now, and the food is very authentic, and plenty of it. I never go away hungry, and everybody is so friendly. It's worth a try if you haven't been there.
Have lived in the SGV for well over 5 years and had never been in this place 'til Late Feb '24. Greeted by friendly staff upon entering and was surprised by nearly 4% to be charged on all credit card payments, yet chose to stay and pay via cash. It was Taco Tuesday so ordered the three 'street' tacos for six bucks. We also decided on the Chile Verde Pork Burrito 'Wet' and a Carne Asada Burrito (also '2et'). WOW, were these ever BIG and fairly tasty to boot ! Only issue I had was simply wished there was more Meat and less Rice in mine. Nonetheless, it was all very good for the price. Our server came back from time to time checking on our experience which was quite satisfying. Will likely be back soon !
The waiter Pacifico, or he calls himself Pacifico was very attentive Unfortunately, there was a bug in our food, which was disgusting . All they did was take the food back They didn’t offer compensation. They didn’t offer to take the food off the bill The food was actually pretty good. I hadn’t been here in a while. The atmosphere was loud Unfortunately, parents don’t contain their children to show the manners so kids are running up and down the aisle One of the kids almost got hit by a hot plate I would hope they would address that, but they didn’t
